As the new Northfield Community Elementary School Principal, I am extremely excited to become part of the Northfield Community.  The upcoming school year will be my twelfth as an educator; I spent the first ten years teaching at the elementary level and the last two years as an Elementary School Assistant Principal.  Now that I have been given the opportunity and honor to be part of the Northfield Family, I am eagerly awaiting the start of the new school year to work with all the members of the school and community in order to facilitate the highest standards of teaching and learning for our students.  It is my sincere intention to positively influence the lives of the children that fill the classrooms of our school each day and to promote excellence their overall education – academically, emotionally, and socially.

To quote Robert Maynard Hutchins:

“The objective of education is to prepare the young to educate
themselves throughout their lives.”
