~ Student Character Awards ~

The monthly student recognition awards are based upon character traits and grade-level themes.  Teachers nominate their students, one per grade level, based on the criteria listed below.  Students receive their certificate, a group photo, and the teacher recommendation form.  Hallways are labeled with banners identifying the grade-level theme and these themes are continued throughout the grade-level classroom lessons, in addition to being reinforced during classroom presentations by the Guidance Counselor. Each month a student is also nominated for the Citizenship, Leadership, and Principal’s Award.
